Erika Teneva
Erika Teneva grew up in America, growing and flourishing during her childhood summers and college years in her native Eastern Europe. She reflects her personal realities (and sometimes morphed illusions), through her poetry and stories.
She self-published her first book “Moral Compass” in December of 2018, and has since been working on future poetry collections, while also delving into short story writing. In 2019, The United Macedonian Diaspora hosted a reading of Moral Compass in coordination with Generation M. In the same year Erika Teneva sat for an interview with Generation M about the collection of poetry. The passion project later gained a small spotlight from Voice of America's Macedonian sector. The book was re-released as a second edition, featuring a new cover as well as a few changes to the original collection. The Seed From Which I Bloomed" is her subsequent collection to "Moral Compass." A matured leap from her first passion project, "The Seed From Which I Bloomed" acts a continuation and poetic revision of M.C.
